PRAYER
REQUESTS
09/03/2010 11:23 AM Ruth Ann Miller, mother of former member Deanna Johnson is suffering with kidney stones and pneumonia and is in the hospital. Bobbie Harris is in the hospital at EAMC. She will have surgery on Tuesday, September 7th. Leon Hosch, is in the hospital at EAMC. He had surgery this week. Jan Dukes broke her hip and is recovering at EAMC. W. C. Rogers, a friend of Bill and Kati Williamson passed away. Katie said that he was always encouraged when they would tell him that our church family was praying for him. Juanita Cundall, sister of Sue Waller passed away Saturday, August 28th. Danny Taylor, neighbor of Buddy and Pam Pearson is home from the hospital and recovering nicely from his surgery. Carolyn Thompson, the sister in law of Mary DuBose's daughter Margaret Reaves had an operation on her brain last week and is recovering nicely. Myrt Mains is not feeling well at this time and is undergoing tests. Wayne Goodman will leave to go to Arkansas for tests and to see his doctor on September 26th. Cecil Langston is scheduled to have surgery on his hand on October 1st.

Chick Wade, a member of the Church in Auburn is undergoing treatment for cancer. JOURNEY OF PRAYER This Thursday there will be a special time of prayer at the church building from 7-8 pm. Bible Class Teachers, please remember to use the last 5 minutes of class time to pray about the things you studied in your class. Look for the Family Guide each Sunday to use at home with your family. They will be on tables in the foyers. FAMILY NEWS The Ladies Bible Class will resume Tuesday, September 14th at 10:30 am. They will continue their study of the book "Let This Cup Pass" with Sue Langston teaching chapter 6. Homecoming

of those you would like to receive an invitation letter. Wayne and Ginger Goodman will host a Fall Festival at their home on Saturday October 30th at 5:30 pm.
NEEDS The clothes closet is in need of girl’s school clothes and dresses. If you have any in good condition, please bring them to the church building at your earliest convenience. Items for the food pantry this week are canned chicken, canned black eyed peas, and canned turnip greens. Remember that, every 2nd Sunday night of the month through December the benevolence team would like for you to bring a new toy, game or book under $10 instead of food. These items will be given to needy children for Christmas.
